DCP’s knowledge & expertise has helped deliver many projects in the education sector, several of which are award winning. For example Kingston University and Leigh Academy both of which use the latest design concepts to provide our young people (who are our future) with the best learning environment possible.
Our skills were fully utilised at Leigh Academy in achieving the final result of a low-energy building that relies on mechanically assisted ventilation of naturally cooled air, using no chillers and virtually no mechanical heating.
The government’s ambition to improve the built health care environment in which patients and care staff operate has been one of the cornerstones of DCP’s work. We have delivered many schemes in this sector giving us a huge amount of experience of which Edmonton Green, East Oxford and Dunnock Way Health Centres are just some examples.
